After the fun and frolics of the festive period, January can be a somewhat depressing month, but it is a great time to get all of your self-care strategies into place. If you haven't already discovered Hygge (pronounced 'hue ga') I thoroughly recommend that you have a look into what it's all about and how you can add this to your life.
A little bit of Hygge is great for the soul!

Hygge is a Danish word that describes the feeling of being cosy, comfortable and at peace with the world.
In their book, The Art of Hygge, Jonny Jackson and Elias Larsen write that "Hygge is one of those words that can't be translated into a single word or phrase, but can at once be described as a state of being and of finding joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life - from watching the sun rise to sharing a meal and good conversation with friends."
Think also of:
- Scented candles
- Cosy blankets and throws
- Warms drinks
- Outdoor activities to reconnect with nature
- Enjoying a book by a log fire
.....to name a few.
Self care features in all of my classes and workshops as I am aware that the majority of us are bad at putting ourselves first, this has to change, remember self care is health care!
If you are ready to put yourself as a priority I would love for you to join the FREE 7 Day Reviva Revolution which starts on Monday 7th January
Have a wonderful week full of cosiness!
