When Will Be the Right Time?
We’re currently on Day 17 of the Feel Good Summer Club, a simple idea that’s taken shape beautifully. One activity, each day, sent via WhatsApp. Each one takes just 5–10 minutes, designed to nudge us all towards better health without feeling like another task on the to-do list.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive. So much so, I’m launching another round in September. Click the newsletter link here for more details. Numbers will be limited again to keep the group focused and avoid too many distractions, just a supportive space to feel good.
But today, something made me pause.
One of the women in the group left. That happens, and that’s okay. But when I checked in on her, this was her message:
“Sorry, I loved the idea, but I can’t keep up with the notifications. I’m a bit stressed with work and emails, and these notifications added to my stress levels.”
It hit me harder than I expected.
Why? Because this group was created exactly for women like her. Women are juggling too much. Women whose health and well-being constantly fall to the bottom of the list.
I get it, life is overwhelming. This might not be the right time. But I can’t help wondering… when will it be?
Sometimes we wait for life to calm down before we prioritise ourselves. But the truth is, life rarely slows down on its own. We have to draw a line. We have to choose ourselves, even if it’s just for 5 minutes a day.
So if you’re reading this and thinking, “That sounds like me”, know this: you’re not alone. And you don’t have to wait for the ‘perfect’ time.
Start small. Start messy. Just start.
Your health is worth it.
