I have recently returned from a week in Austria, followed by a few days camping in the New Forest.
Normally, when you return from holiday, you have the blues and feel a bit odd, but for me, it started in the second week of our break. Can’t describe how I felt in a very concise manner, but I just didn’t have that va va voom that is normally present!
A couple of days in and after a lovely bike ride, on a beautiful sunny day, I felt a bit more like my normal self. I realised though, that perhaps it is something I needed to address on my return.
During the pandemic, I completed a 4-week online course called the High Vibe Journey, it came just at the right time for me and had, and continues to have a profound effect on the way I live my day-to-day life. That’s not to say, that sometimes the high-vibe practices that I’ve learned might slip a bit.
The access to the programme is ongoing, so as soon as I got back into the swing of post-holiday life, I printed off the workbook for week 1 and dived straight back in.
I have already identified and feel better for it, that I need to achieve each of these for 10 minutes each day (yes, just 10 minutes) to raise my vibe.
- Exercise
- Declutter
- Meditation
- Getting out in nature
- Listening to music
Wishing you a wonderful week.
Emma
